Darren Quek
Advisor
My name is Darren Quek, I’m the prescedent partner of the company, Coach Darren LLP. I’m the ex-Principal & Founder of Forest School Singapore (2016-2024), and the Research Practitioner of Forest School Discover (2025-now). I begin my journey in Forest School many years ago, in 2015, under the mentorship and guidance of my Forest Kindergarten sensei, Atsuko Yamamoto.
I’m experience in the field of Education, SME Business, Environmentalism, Humanitarian, Practice of Forest School & Nature Connection. I personally enjoy coaching and developing the potential of others. It brings me great satisfaction and sense of meaning to see a young child or elder adult, grow in capacity, from the interaction and relationship that we share. I enjoy sharing, debating, hypothesizing. Working in space of discourse, disagreement and tension, is also something I enjoy being in, as people are often most authentic and sincere in those moment of intensity.
