"I can always steal."
A teenager bluntly blurted out during our FLOW workshop last Saturday. (FLOW = Finance, Leadership, Occupation/Career and Worldview).
"Oh, so how much would you steal?"
Brenda Ng responded without shaming, lecturing or shutting her down.
"Maybe $10,000?"
Brenda continued to engage her masterfully and their conversation reached a point where the teenager realised that stealing is definitely not a good enough solution.
The kids are extremely blessed to have Brenda deeply vested in them. With her stellar background, experience and knowledge in investment and finance, the finance part of our FLOW program is definitely leveled up in so many cool ways.
While our Wellness sessions focus on what's going on within, FLOW series is just as important as it imparts skills and knowledge critical for the kids to thrive in society.
Thank you to our FLOW team members Kelvin Tan, Lora Ng, Brenda and Dean Ng for being there last Saturday. May we keep The Facilitators' Project sessions such as these going for as long as possible :)
