The Facilitators' Project

As we were settling down into our seats, the kid sitting next to me tried to shift Dean Ng's bag to the side; it was too heavy and would not budge no matter how she tried 🤣

She could not believe it when I told her that Dean not only carried the massively heavy bag but also the packets of 100% apple/mango juice and the sea salt Kettle Chips for our group after work all the way to the movie theater!

Its amazing how Dean would go the extra extra mile to use every opportunity to teach the kids about nutrition. The kids do not feel like they missed out because she really puts in extraordinary effort to seek tasty healthier options.

We were at the movie theatre because our kids from The Facilitators' Project were invited to Chia Peng Chwan's 8th Client Appreciation Night which is the Wicked movie screening.

When PC appeared to give a speech, some of the kids recognized him and didn't give him a chance to start! They were so eager to speak to him and he patiently answered their barrage of questions 😅👏🏼😆😁

During the movie, I was surprised to hear the same kid beside me singing along. She has learnt the songs in her school choir and watching the movie gave her a deeper context 🎵❤️👍🏽

The kids looked forward to PC's events also because he would provide each kid with a special trinket related to the movie. This round it was a lego version of the Wicked Witch 🧙‍♀️🥳

Once again, we would like to thank PC, Joy and Denalyn for this beautiful opportunity for the kids to enjoy a setting that most people has taken for granted 🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰
